Dr. Modi is a compassionate, caring, and sensible gastroenterologist who has been serving the Edison, NJ community since July 2014, Board-certified in Gastroenterology and Hepatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Modi is highly experienced in all aspects of digestive diseases, including diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.

He earned his medical degree from Smt. N.H.L. Municipal Medical College in India and completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology at Seton Hall University, New Jersey.

Dr. Modi holds a faculty position as Clinical Assistant Professor at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine. He is also a teaching faculty member in the gastroenterology fellowship program at Bayonne Medical Center in Bayonne, NJ. In addition to his clinical and academic roles, Dr. Modi serves on several hospital committees, including the Executive Committee and the Peer Review Committee at JFK University Medical Center in Edison, NJ. He also contributes to advisory panels focused on radiology utilization and pharmaceutical development.

Dedicated to helping patients receive optimal diagnostic evaluation and treatment, Dr. Modi is committed to supporting a positive and healthy lifestyle for all his patients. His fluency in English, Spanish, Hindi, Urdu, and Gujarati enables him to effectively communicate with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. He believes in listening closely to each patient and building a partnership to support lifelong health and well-being.

We are proud to introduce Christine, our highly skilled Advanced Nurse Practitioner specializing in acute gastroenterology care within the hospital setting. With a deep understanding of complex gastrointestinal conditions and a strong commitment to patient-centered care, Christine plays a vital role in managing and supporting patients during their most critical moments. Her expertise and compassionate approach make her an invaluable member of our healthcare team.

Christine obtained her Masters degree in Family Nurse Practitioner from the College of New Jersey. After graduating with honors, she became an integral part of our team in 2019. She has the clinical knowledge and expertise to provide specialized care to patients with a range of gastroenterology conditions. Treating people in a holistic manner is something Christine focuses on with each individual patient.

Her previous experience as a critical care nurse prompted her current focus on providing comprehensive care. She also has special interest in preventative medicine.

Christine provides a detailed approach when seeing patients—addressing their physical, emotional, and social needs. “I enjoy meeting new patients, forming bonds with established patients, and developing relationships with each of them with the overall goal of building patient trust and achieving positive health outcomes” she said.

In her free time Christine enjoys spending time with her two children and husband, traveling, cooking, and going to the beach.

We are proud to introduce our Certified Physician Assistant, a dedicated specialist in outpatient, office-based gastroenterology care. With a strong clinical background and a patient-centered approach, they play a key role in diagnosing, managing, and supporting patients with a wide range of digestive health concerns.

Bhumi graduated from Mercy University and was drawn to this field for its versatility and the meaningful impact it has on a patient’s quality of life. She is passionate about providing thoughtful, evidence-based care and value strong communication and trust between patients and the provider.

She has participated in international medical missions to the Gambia and Senegal, experiences that have shaped her approach to patient care with a deep sense of empathy and cultural awareness. She is fluent in English, Gujarati, and Hindi, which helps her connect with diverse patients and provide more personalized care.

Outside of work, she enjoys staying active through hiking, biking, and skiing. Additionally, she loves traveling, exploring new cultures, and trying new foods!

Dipal is dedicated and results-oriented healthcare professional with extensive experience in medical office administration, nutrition, and pharmacy operations. Since 2016, she has served as the Office Manager of a dynamic and patient-focused medical practice, where she oversees day-to-day operations, manage staff coordination, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, efficient patient care.

Holding a Master’s degree in Business Administration, she applies advanced organizational and leadership skills to streamline practice workflows and optimize operational efficiency. Her business acumen enables her to manage resources effectively, implement best practices, and maintain a well-structured, smoothly running office even amidst a busy and fast-paced environment.

Her knowledge of nutrition science allows her to bring a preventive and holistic approach to patient wellness, promoting healthier lifestyles alongside traditional medical treatments. Additionally, she has previous experience working as a pharmacy technician, which has provided her with a strong foundation in medication management, patient counseling, and pharmaceutical compliance—further enriching my understanding of the healthcare system as a whole.

Fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati, she excels at communicating with a diverse patient population and fostering an inclusive, respectful environment for both patients and staff. Her ability to bridge cultural and linguistic gaps has contributed significantly to our practice’s strong reputation for compassionate care.

As a proud mother of two boys, she brings empathy, discipline, and a strong work ethic to every aspect of her professional life. She is deeply committed to creating a supportive, productive workplace where her team thrives, and to ensuring that every patient who walks through our doors receives the highest standard of care.

Since 2021, Malli has served as a dedicated Medical Assistant, with her current role as a Surgical Coordinator allowing her to play a vital part in supporting patients through their surgical journeys. She takes pride in creating a positive, respectful, and empathetic environment where patients feel informed, reassured, and cared for every step of the way.

In addition to her healthcare experience, she bring a background in computer science and education, having also worked as a teacher. She is also fluent in English and Tamil. These experiences have sharpened her communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills—qualities that she applies daily in patient care and team collaboration.

Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, gardening, and exploring new places.

Disha is an intergral part of our team at Premier Gastroenterology consultants office, serving as a skilled medical assistant since 2022. She is very passionate, caring hard working. and helping patients through their health journeys is incredibly rewarding, and she always aims to offer support with compassion and understanding.

She takes pride in building trust with patients and being a reliable part of their care team. She is fluent in English, Gujarati, and Hindi, which helps her connect with a diverse range of patients.

Outside of work, she stays active by working out and spending meaningful time with friends and family.
